I am interested in applying for a parttime or casual position, preferably in retail. I am enthusiastic, motivated and always like to achieve my best. I am honest, reliable, well presented and ready to learn. I recently completed my Higher School Certificate, achieving high band fives (between 80 and 90) in all subjects studied. I studied and recieved a Certificate I in Retail Services (NSW Vocational education and training) and a partial certificate II, which provided me with the ability to apply point-of-sale procedures, interact with customers, organise and maintain work areas, communicate effectively, operate retail technology and work effectively in a retail team environment. Other modules covered included performing stock control procedures, applying safe working practices, minimising theft, balancing point-of-sale terminal, and merchandising products. Also during the course, I completed 80 hours of work placement in retail stores, which allowed me to experience these topics first hand in a retail environment. My work experience, as well as my two year Retail Services course, provided me with experience in communicating with customers effectively, while being a member of the School Representative Council and a District Representative gave experience in speaking with confidence and communicating adequately. Although I do not have any current job history, due to the fact I was concentrating solely on my studies, I am a very fast learner and am willing to complete any task at hand to the best of my ability.
