Being a logistics manager for more than 6 years had given me chance to perfect my craft. My main thrust is managing processes involved in a supply chain and liaises with a variety of parties, including suppliers of raw materials, manufacturers, retailers and, increasingly, consumers. I've been coordinating processes to other departments to ensure customer satisfaction. An awareness of and strategic response to external influences, such as legislation is very vital in my core of responsibility. My role as a manager within logistics involves transportation, stock control, warehousing, and ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials. I play a key part within the logistics field in forecasting increasingly complex systems of stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and performance evaluation.
