I would like to apply for a position of Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Abu Dhabi. I hold the MRCOG (UK) since 1995, and the FRCOG (UK) since 2007 and was a Senior Consultant and Associate Professor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in Burma (Myanmar) before moving to Australia for family reasons. I hold current registration with Myanmar Medical Council. Pending assessment of my qualifications by the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) I am temporarily registered with the Medical Board of Queensland (Australia) and have begun working as a Registrar at the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Mater Mothers’ Hospital, Mater Health Services, Brisbane, (Queensland). My skills include the following: Routine antenatal care as well as high risk pregnancies Inpatient care of antenatal patients with obstetric complications eg. APH, Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, Eclampsia, Intrapartum care-instrumental deliveries, LSCS, Caesarean hysterectomy Postnatal care and family planning service, Gynaecological out-patient and in-patient care, Gynaecological emergency operations-surgical operations for ectopic pregnancy, ovarian accidents, D&C, E&C, Gynaecological operations such as Total Abdominal Hysterectomy, Vaginal Hysterectomy, Colposcopy, LLETZ Procedure, Diagnostic Hysteroscopy, Diagnostic laparoscopy and tubal sterilization with filshie clips.
