Job: Project Engineer Skills: A) Project management: Fourteen years of hands-on project management experience B) Tank, piping and equipment design: Proficient in API 650, API 653, BS 2654, EEMUA 189 and EEMUA 183, Piping codes ASME B 31.3 and ASME B 31.4 and Shell Design C) Engineering Practices: Conversant with Shell Design and Engineering Practice, pressure vessel design as per ASME Sec VIII Div 1. D) Chemical engineering design: Design calculations related to fluid flow, heat transfer and mass transfer. E) Health, Safety and Environment: Proficient in conducting Hazard and Operability Studies (HAZOP), Tripod Analysis of incidents and Hazard Analysis. E) Project management software: Conversant with scheduling, resource allocation and costing aspect of project management software MS Project. Use of the same extensively in all projects. F) Chemical Plant Operations: Eight years of hands-on chemical plant operations experience, six of which were in one of India’s largest fertilizer companies.
