I am preferably looking for a Quality Assurance role. I am a qualified Mechanical Fitter and I have applied my skills and knowledge to the aircraft industry lately where standards are especially high.I was promoted to the role of Quality Assurance Officer in this industry five years ago. I am familiar with ISO 9001,have a superior eye for detail, internal auditing skills, excellent written and verbal skills, a meticulous approach to QA documentation, superb ability to communicate at all levels, ability to be flexible and transfer skills to differing applications. I am also interested in Fitting jobs. I served an apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering. I have experience of marking out dimensions and shapes of a part to be machined by studying blueprints and using measureing equipment, assembling and fitting machined parts using drill holes and tap threads for bolting together, use of many hand tools i.e files, saws, chisels, experience in bench fitting, use of a range of machinery such as pillar drills, lathes, shapers, milling machines etc. I have the ability to follow routine procedures, problem solving skills, manual dexterity, good eyesight and hearing. Some shutdown fault finding, part replacement experience.
