I speak mainly English. I understanf and can speak a bit of Portuguese and a little bit of Afrikaans. I'm looking for a job in either Customer or Public Relations within the hospitality industry (but I'm open to any field not just hospitality) or a junior banqueting co-ordinator/Supervisor or Reception work. I've worked in Reception for 6 months for s very busy corporate hotel of 168 rooms so I have a little experience. I aslo worked for the Compass Group (2month Contract) at the Asian games held in Doha, Qatar as a Restaurant Supervisor. It was alarge scale events that required communicating with people of various backgrounds and races and trying to break the communication barrier and train them so they could understand as not many of the people spoke English. I'm also looking for a Guest Relations/ Public Relations position is beacause I'm currently working for a Public Benefit orgainsation which relies on the Public for Donations and my main task is to keep our clients who support us, happy and i aslo host Annual Golf Days to raise further funds for the organisation and I thoroughly enjoy what I do aso I'm looking for something along those lines...even Event Co-ordination as I have a bit of Experience. I would say that my main attributes are that I am a good communicator, I'm self confident, I enjoy interacting with people andI'm a good listener which allows me to be a good problem solver as I can identify problems well and get to the root of it before it gets out of hand. I'm easy going always accept challenges as I believe it makes you grow as a person. I'm not afraid to voice my opinion when it is necessary. I believe I can be an asset to your comapnay because I am young, fresh, eager to learn and I have so much knowledge from what I have studied, waiting to be applied in the big world out there. I'm not afraid to go beyond to achieve what I need to do to become successful.
