I have recently have moved to Melbourne from Perth. I have worked as a Direct Care Worker for four years. In this position I have worked on a therapeutic and practical level with some of the most challenging youth in Perth WA. In this position I have also worked along side with their families. I have also gained work experience as an Art Therapist whilst completing my Masters in Art Therapy, providing therapeutic counselling to adults, youth and young children at a group and individual capacity. I would like to continue working with adults, youth and children on a therapeutic level, however, I would also like to gain experience in the research, development and application of community projects. My main skills include; excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, well developed analytical and research skills, ability to work well within a team environment and on my own. I was born in Poland and I am able to speak fluently in Polish. Recently, I spent three months in Spain and I can also speak a little Spanish. I am currently taking courses to continue with developing this skill.
