Opportunities for experienced Senior Legal Secretaries to work with a leading provider of offshore legal services in the Cayman Islands.
Our client provides legal expertise and a wide range of services, including, offshore mutual funds, captive insurance, banking, trusts, companies, partnerships, corporate finance and litigation. Our client represents many of the Fortune 500 Companies, international banks, trust companies and insurance companies throughout the world, as well as many private clients.
Candidates will work as part of a team structure and will be responsible for ensuring the timely completion of in-house secretarial and administrative tasks.
Applicants should possess at least three years experience in a senior legal position dealing directly with private clients on various legal matters. Candidates will be required to fulfill all aspects of secretarial work and legal document production. In addition, candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a typing speed of 70wpm. Candidates will liaise with courts and government authorities on various regulatory filings. Prior knowledge of civil and commercial litigation is required.
Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel applications is required. Professionalism, attention to detail, ability to produce high quality work under tight deadlines, and excellent organizational & communication skills are essential. Flexibility is needed with working overtime at short notice.
