Job Description - Chief Welding QC
Duties/ Responsibilities:
• Responsible for Quality Control (QC) activities related to welding at the construction site
during the execution of a major international nuclear power plant project.
• Implements Quality Control inspection programs related to welding to oversee and monitor
construction welding quality progress and success during the execution of the project.
• Monitors construction welding activities to ensure quality objectives are met.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• BS/BA degree and a minimum of 5 years experience in responsible assignments in
construction management or construction quality control activities associated with welding,
including testing and/or inspection of manufacturing, construction, and/or installation
welding activities.
• At least two years of this time should be in nuclear construction quality control testing
and/or inspection of welding activities with emphasis on welding QC management.
Or
• High School and a minimum of 10 years experience in responsible assignments in
construction management or construction quality control activities associated with welding,
including testing and/or inspection of manufacturing, construction, and/or installation
welding activities.
• At least two years of this time should be in nuclear construction quality control testing
and/or inspection of welding activities with emphasis on welding QC management.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Expat required for this position.
