Duties/ Responsibilities:

• The Construction Manager oversees Site Construction management Support Staff for the Site Project management Office.
• Monitors Site Schedule to identify trends and takes proactive measures to maintain progress.
• Ensure site QA./QC Program is being followed by Construction subcontracts.
• Ensures Safety Standards are being met.
• Implements programs to oversee and monitor progress of construction contractor.
• Supports coordination of interfaces between design groups and ensures design supports construction.
• The Construction Manager must interface with the Procurements Group to provide schedule and technical requirements for procurement of materials.
• Provide routine reporting on construction contractor activities, including immediate reporting of urgent issues.
• Foster harmonious working relationships and professionalism between and among all site engaged activities.
• Provides for audits and surveillances to ensure milestones are met for contract performance.
• The Construction Manager resolves complex problems to assist the project between all internal and external organizations and manages the performance of employees through goal setting, ongoing assessment and coaching.


Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Construction Management or Engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• 15 - 20 years experience required.
• Has demonstrated and proven track records in self performed construction work.
• The position must demonstrate expertise in broad areas of construction.
