Manage the internal reporting of mining tenders and opportunities
Undertake and report on site visits
Develop and maintain databse of mining related suppliers and services and subcontractors
Develop an understanding of local taxation and duties in relation to mining actvities
Develop an understanding of local mining, labour, safety, and environmental laws and how they affect mining costs
Prpared detailed mining cost estimates using CATS and associated spreadsheets
prepare financial model of tenders
Review mining methodology and alternatives
Coordinate with plant personnel for equipment costs
prepare tender submission documents
prepare documentations and infromatin fro tender reviews
Assists in developing and implementing a training plan fro a national estimating engineer
Requirements:
minimum of 10 years of expereince in the related field
DEgree in mining or civil engineering preferred
Project experence at opencast mining sites
expereince in estimating of heavy civil engineering or mining projects
experience wih a mining contractor preferred
Willingness to travel
