One of our prestigious hospital clients in Saudi Arabia is inviting experienced applicants to fill in the above vacancy position.
You must have at least minimum two (2) years experience with ICD-10-AM in an acute care setting.
One (1) year expereince operating in an electronic environment desirable.
* Familiar with medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, phamacology, pathology, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.
The successful candidate is responsible for accurate coding of all pertinent diagnoses and procedures on medical records and for abstracting demographic and clinical information from the medical records, entering the data in the hospital computer system.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
* High school graduate
* Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT)or HIMAA certified preferred.
* Completion of advanced course in ICD-10-AM coding.
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
* Coding certification through AHIMA or HIMAA preferred.
