Contract residential expatriate position in the mining sector at a new open cast copper/cobalt mine in Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The salary and benefits structure will be commensurate with a person of the right level of experience and competence - fully taxable - with the potential to earn the same again in terms of a bonus.
REQUIREMENTS:
· BSc Mining or related degree
· Mine Managers Certificate of Competency or equivalent
· At least 5 years experience in open cast, mid to senior position
· Sound costing/financial basis
· Must know Surpac and Xpac & Whittle essential
· Knowledge of copper/cobalt will be an advantage
· Assertive individual
· French/Swahili speaking will be advantageous, but not essential
· Benefits available on request
