The Maintenance Lead directs Horizon staff and maintenance contractors in Upgrading to ensure maintenance goals are achieved. This position with work closely with Operations, Engineering and Turn Around Planning.
Specific Accountabilities include but are not limited to:
-Lead a maintenance group consisting of staff mechanical/electrical specialists, contract planning, contract crafts to deliver effective and efficient reactive and routine maintenance services.
-Coordinate engineering and inspection resources to ensure inspections and repairs provide reliable plant equipment.
-Ensure procedures, services, spare parts and tools are available to carry out repairs.
-Lead development of predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
-Input into planning and execution of major repairs, unit outages and turnarounds.
Employment Requirements
-An engineering degree or diploma in a related discipline is desirable, but not mandatory.
-10 years progressive experience in process plant maintenance leading to supervision roles
-Experience in either delayed coking, sulphur, hydrotreating or hydrogen units is desirable.
