1 Yew Wah Introduction
1.1 Founder
Yew Wah International Education Foundation (耀华国际教育机构) was founded in Hong Kong and established by the notable Mr. Paul Yip Kwok-Wah, and leading education expert, director of Yew Chung Education Foundation, Dr. Betty Chan Po-King.
Together Mr. Yip and Dr. Chan possess extensive experiences and remarkable accomplishments in developing and providing quality international education. Their distinguished achievements have been obtained through the establishment of Yew Chung International Schools (YCIS) in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Beijing, Chongqing as well as Silicon Valley in the United States.
In mainland China, however, Yew Chung International Schools place restrictions to their admissions, and only the children of expatriates are legally admitted. To cater for Chinese students, and offer more students the benefits and opportunities of enjoying leading quality international education, Mr. Yip and Dr. Chan in recent years have established Yew Wah Educational Institutions. These are located in the heart of many cities of China, including Shanghai, Chongqing, and also Yantai, with the focus being on the allowing admission for Chinese local students, to study together with international students.

Yew Wah amalgamates the essences of Chinese and Western culture, placing emphasis on Chinese and English learning, character formation, whole-person development and international vision as their educational philosophy.
