Company description:

Hi my name is Jenn Kelso and I am the Head Teacher at Sahmyook Elementary School. I have been here for the last year and am loving it. I have previously been teaching in my home country - Australia - and I have really appreciated working in a real-school situation.

We are looking for some enthusiastic teachers to join our Immersion program.

The program involves teaching math, science and language arts in English, to classes of highly motivated Korean students.

Many of our students hold foreign passports, have lived overseas, spent significant portions of their lives outside of Korea, or are planning to in the near future.

You would be co-teaching a class of students with a Korean Teaching Partner.

The Principal is a kind and sincere Christian man, who treats all his staff with genuine respect and care. The Korean staff are amazing, supportive and friendly. I have made some good friends already!!

Daejeon Sam Yook Elementary School is a private Adventist elementary school with a student body of 450. The school was founded in 1949. It is located in the southern part of Daejeon, Korea. Daejeon is the sixth largest city in Korea. We are located one hour south of Seoul and 2 hours North West of Busan by the KTX train. Since it is a large city with a foreign population of about 1,500 most foreigners find it to have most everything they need.
