Company description:
Orphanage Relief Fund http://www.iorphan.net/ is a non-profit charity that spends donations to provide basic necessities such as food, clothing and shelter to orphans and homeless children living in the former Soviet Bloc countries. It is registered with the U.S. authorities, collects donations and makes disbursements, publishes reports on how the money is spent, and gets inspected by the IRS.
All orphanages and shelters that receive our help are registered non-profit organizations and have at least a 5-year record of accomplishment.
Our goal - is to reach people from all over the world and to help all disadvantaged and less fortunate children.
Our mission
• Provide basic necessities such as food, clothing and shelter to orphans and homeless children living in the former Soviet Bloc countries.
• Assist them in gaining necessary skills to become self-supporting functional members of society.
• Increase public awareness to the needs of all disadvantaged and less fortunate children.
All individual and corporate donations (including unspecified and "where most needed") will continue to be assigned to specific orphanage projects.
Every project does make a major improvement in the daily lives of the children and reduces the health and safety risks to everyone at the facility, staff included!
We are a 501(3) (c) non-profit charitable corporation registered in the state of California (Ascent Russian Orphan Aid Foundation) (EIN #91-2192371). All donations are fully tax deductible. Our Financial Statements are thoroughly verified by independent auditors at least once a year.
