Company description:
Porcupine Pty Ltd is a privately owned company, which operates 6 poultry sheds, holding approximately 100 000 birds in total. The company grows chickens exclusively for Adelaide Poultry (Baiada). One day old chickens are delivered to the sheds that are then grown onsite for a period of up to 50 days. The birds are then removed from the site and prepared at the factory for consumers. The sheds are then cleaned, sterilized and prepared for the next cycle of birds. There are 5-6 cycles per year.
