Small outback hotel, middle of nowhere. Full of friendly locals, on the banks of the Georgina river, plenty of fish and fun while the river is running in the wet season. Hotel two story was burnt down in 1932 and rebuilt single story 1932. Originally built to accomodate the drovers who moved cattle on foot before the Roadtrains started. the hotel is right in the middle of Headingly Station about 1 million hectares. Population of Urandangi is 50 on a good day, but we have a great primary school and wondersul kids. Our hotel invites locals and travellers to come for a cold beer 7 days a week. Vacancies: None
